So I said to her, “Charlotte, Lexus RX is the perfect blend of luxury, safety and space. If you are looking to cart the young ‘uns around without losing that panache you get from a luxury vehicle there is really no better option.” The car is designed to make sure that consumers maintain the ease of use, comfort and interior amenities that you find in luxury sedans and the extra space that you find in an SUV.
But the Lexus RX has some added benefits for young families. My mom always said “safety first,” and this vehicle agrees. The RX received a “Top Safety Pick” distinction from the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, meaning both the driver in the front seat and the little passengers in the back are secure. This makes a used 2008 Lexus RX a great find.
Budget (and environmentally) conscious consumers should also be excited to learn that the all wheel drive models maintain a fuel sipping MPG of 18 in the city and 24 on the highway. This combination of luxury, safety and fuel economy helped contribute to the model winning the US News 2012 Best Luxury Midsize SUV for the Money award. And that is a “feather in the cap” for which any car maker or owner should be proud.
