3/12/2012 4:24:20 PM - by Tim HaberforceCar designs have really evolved over the years. Even just within the past twenty years or so, cars have dramatically changed outside and inside. For instance, you don’t see too many pop-up headlights anymore that were all the rage in the ‘80s and ‘90s.
Those tall, metal sticks that came out of cars called antennas are also extinct. I miss cassette players. How am I supposed to play all of those mix tapes I’ve made? You can’t rely on the radio to play “Working for the Weekend” often enough. There are so many car features that have disappeared from when I was younger. But the bright side is that these features have been updated for the better, like those in the 2009 BMW 328i.
One of the modern technologies available for this car is BMW’s iDrive system. This system condenses all of the controls, like navigation and climate control, into one easy-to-use dial. With a built-in navigation system, what are we to do with our outdated maps crumbled up in our glove boxes? For another thing, the materials are of such a higher quality in this pre owned BMW. Charlotte residents know the top dealerships take care of their used cars, like Keffer Select.
For example, at Keffer Select, they offer a three-month, 3,000-mile warranty for cars that have less than 100,000 miles on them and younger than six years. Besides Keffer Select’s and BMW’s warranties, the reliability of the overall mechanical quality for the BMW 328i is among the best, according to J.D. Power. While I’ll miss the days of bench seats and lap-only seatbelts, I think a pre-owned BMW will be an easy and worthwhile trade.
